Cansu Sara Takmaz is 11 years old and comes from Antalya, Turkey. She started playing the violin with her lecturer Mrs. Guljahan BABAYEVA SOLAK at the Akdeniz University Conservatory of Performing Arts at the age of six. Her passion and enthusiasm for the violin as well as the hard work soon led her from the beginner’s songs to the demanding repertoire. Cansu took part in several masterclasses (see below). When she was nine she became part of the Akdeniz University Children Symphony Orchestra. Cansu Sara has her debut as a Soloist with the Antalya State Symphony Orchestra at the age of 10. She is currently continuing her studies at Akdeniz University State Conservatory of Performing Arts in grade 6 and is member of the Akdeniz University Children Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestra “Akdeniz Camerata”.

  • April 2017 -  International Young Talents Competition (Prize for Youngest Competitor and 3rd Prize)
  • March 2019 - IV Paris International Music Competition (2nd Prize),
  • April 2019 - Soloist with the Antalya State Symphony Orchestra
  • November 2019 - Kamerton-Soloist International Competition for Performing Arts (1st Prize with opportunity to give a concert)
