Hello, my name is Kaixin Dokter, I am 9 – year - old and live in Leeuwarden in the Netherlands. I started piano lesson three years ago, and since beginning of this year I play cello too.

Last summer, I went for the second time to Piano summer school at the Chetham’s School of Music in Manchester. I had, amongst others, lessons from professor Dina Parakhina and have weekly lessons from concert pianist Dimitar Dimitrov and Dr. Murray McLachlan.This year in November, I won the Jury price in my category, the Public Price and the Peter de Grote Price at the Hayden Muziek Festival in Groningen.

I love classical music but also become happy from jazz, blues and pop music. 

Besides my passion to music I also love speed skating. Last week, I won the Club Championship in my age category for speed skating. 

I am very proud to be selected and look forward to play at Stage4kids.
