Nina Gringolts and Benjamin Branson perform regularly as a duet since 2018. In this short time they have participated in various Zakhar Bron School of Music concerts and won as a duet the first prize at the Swiss National Youth Music Competition Entrada (Winterthur) and the first prize with distinction at the Swiss National Youth Music Competition Finale (Lugano). The duet is coached by Matthieu Gutbub and the co-founder of the Zakhar Bron School of Music Liana Tretiakova. 


Nina was born in Zurich in a musical family in 2008. She began her violinstudies at the age of 5 at the studio of Liana Tretiakova at the Zakhar Bron School of Music. At the age of 10 Nina became a prizewinner at the International Competition Premio di Padova in Italy. In September 2019 Nina debuted as a soloist with the Chamber Orchestra Sonorus in Minsk, Belarus. 

 

Benjamin was born in Zurich in 2009. He began his cello lessons at the age of 5 and is currently studying at the studio of Matthieu Gutbub at the Zakhar BronSchool of Music and taking regular master-classes with Claire Oppert in Paris. Benjamin is the prizewinner of the Swiss National Youth Music Competition and the winner of the Zurich Youth Music Competition.
